Do you enjoy giving your opinion? Like most women, I would image we do. And we love options. Southern Accents served up three different designs, with one headboard. Could you select just one? Or pieces from all of them? For me, I would select pieces from each.

Above, Beyond, Around...

The robin's egg blue mats stopped me in my tracks. I love the introduction of the crisp, cool color in the mats, pillows, and chair, to an otherwise warm, neutral room. It is great to hear that the pieces in this designers home, Keith Arnold, come from here, there and everywhere—from trade-only design showrooms to flea markets and even parking lot liquidation sales. A collection of random pieces that makes the space home. It has been a while since we have be to any flea markets or antique shows. After reading about Courtney's Round Top trip, it got me excited for Scott's is this weekend; I hope we can make it over there.

This month in Domino Mag's 'renovator's notebook' they highlighted "10 fast fixes that add value to your home". The most inexpensive tips for upgrading looks, efficiency, and sell-ability.

1. Paint, paint, paint

Compare this list to the one from Real Simple. Both lists agree in investing in painting, kitchens, bathrooms, decks, and home systems. Domino says to get new doors, while Real Simple says to replace the windows. Domino says to reroof, while Real Simple suggests fixing up the basement.
