I think its because the source of the image is missing. Do you load images to photobucket or something like that? Or, if they are on your server they may have been deleted somehow. Try re-uploading your header. Hope this helps. Love your blog btw!

Check your picasaweb.google.com account, if your pictures are automatically saved there.
This may be a hacker! Check with blogger!

Just found your blog. That is the worst, scariest story about losing everything. (It actually made my stomach hurt.) I'm so sorry and hope everything gets restored quickly and easily. Fingers crossed.
