Open All...

It rained all day Saturday {which was ok because we had back-to-back-to-back football games to watch}. It is also ok, because that rain brought a crispness to the air, beautiful blue skies, and cool breezes we have been longing for. We have been opening all the windows and letting the cross breeze come through. I wish I could open a whole wall though like these homes from Feldman Architecture {found on Houzz}.

Southern Colonial...

This 1852 Charleston house is mixed with modern touches
and traditional South Carolina architecture.

So Natural...

I love a room filled with natural light.
We have had sunshine the last two days. I hope it is here to stay.

Lake Affect...

Due to all the rain in Atlanta, we are having a lake like effect. There are plenty of 'lakes' around where they shouldn't be. While waiting for the rain to stop, I will swoon over this lakeside retreat.

Lovely...

I am drooling over this riverside home in Savannah, GA. It was built in the 1820s as a caretaker's cottage of an antebellum plantation. Love it and its location!
Happy Weekend!

Showhouse Inspiration...

I like when a showhouse offers great inspiration and
showcases rooms and ideas that seem achievable.
