What a great book! I'm forever yelling at my TV screen when I watch shows on HGTV and they demolish completely good stuff. Things can go on to have a second life with someone's brillance and creativity! If I don't win this, I'm definitely buying it!
Wow what a great give away.. my home is restored, recyled or repurposed.. the only way to go in my "book" to make it your own. Pls enter me into the drawing.
email is jleibfried@aol.com
thanks
I would love to have this book! We repurpose all the time! Thanks Tami
We are building a new home and the thought has crossed my mind a jillion times of how to make at least a few decisions thinking of the environment. There are a ton of new energy saving appliances, windows, etc.
My daughters are buying old dining chairs and refinishing them and plan to sell them at the farmer's market. They're doing the work, but I'm providing the cash! Does that count?
I could REALLY use this book! ;)
What a beautiful book. I love recycling things. I have found some beautiful pieces on Craigslist that just needed a little tlc to come back to life.
My email is kbalonek@rochester.rr.com
This book sounds wonderful! I repurpose and recycle all the time for myself and clients.
A design book that speaks to me! I would love this!
We just bought a house and this book would be a perfect for all our projects!
what a great looking book. looking for ideas
Sounds like a great book, I love to use old things in my home...Recycling to the best extent!
I reuse, recycle or repurpose almost everything. I have to use something at least three different times/ways before I get rid of it. Love this giveaway!
PERFECT idea for a book. I would love a copy!!
I love decorating with reused, repurposed, and recycled and would love to win this book for more ideas - thanks for offering the giveaway!
My dream is to reuse, recycle, repurpose my whole house. I would love the extra inspiration!
What a great book!!! Would love to see all the ideas!
What BEAUTIFUL pictures you have included on your blog posting. I have a working document in which I cut in paste design blog pictures that I want to "recreate". I copied all three of these in my document. One of my life themes is turning trash into treasure. Why do I even call it trash?...maybe cause others think stuff is trash; it's all treasure to me! I am always looking at ways to save or reuse items. This book looks like it has some great ideas for that use.

Sounds like a great book - please enter me in the drawing! Many items in our house are second-hand from a relative or neighbor, so they've been given a second life in our home. Our "new" farmhouse kitchen table and chairs were purchased at a consigment store. It's not only eco-friendly, but it adds a bit of history/lore to your home.
What a great book! It looks like it's full of wonderful ideas and inspiring pictures. I'm constantly scouring thrift stores and craigslist for things I can repurpose in my home. Old items have so much more character than most of the (affordable) new ones.
We just bought a house and I am sure this book would provide tons of great ideas!
We are avid supporters of anything "green", so this book is exactly what the doctor ordered. Thanks for this wonderful give-away!
I would love to have a copy of this book! I love finding old things and repurposing them. I'm always searching for great finds on Craigslist or in local antique stores that I can give a new life to. :)
Recently I've turned an old door into a headboard, refinished and recovered some goodwill chairs, and turned paint drop clothes into curtains! Thanks for such a great giveaway idea!

Wow I could really use this, I'm just starting to repurpose things and I could use all the help I can get!
I have a whole home full of flea market finds, many items restored and I was doing it before I even realized it was the right thing to do. Would love to win the book!!!
I would love to have this book! Thanks for the chance to win!
Looks like an amazing book! As a huge fan of flea markets I can say that I repurpose all kinds of items all the time. It's truly great!

I love to reuse and repurpose in my home! Thanks! bethp83 at yahoo dot com
I have been in LOVE with that aqua picnic table on the cover since the beginning of time (or since I saw it last summer). but maybe if i had a book with the pic on the cover my boyfriend would think it was a legit kitchen table option.
I use an old tiny childs rolltop desk in my kitchen office to hold my printer and supplies. I have owned it since I was 7. I love the thought of this book. Everything in my home has meaning and came from someone or somewhere special. I would love the advice. Thanks. Farris
restoring, recycling and repurposing is how I did most of my house! sounds like a great book.
Awesome book - if I don't win it I am going to buy it anyway. Love love love to reuse and repurpose! I just run out of room trying to keep everything!!
What a very nice thing to give away! I would love it! Thank you for your generosity.
Another great giveaway! Looks like a great book - may have to get it either way!
Love that kitchen so much!
My husband and I found an old side table in someone's trash last night (dumpster diving is treasure hunting for me). I've just posted photos on my blog of the BEFORE...check back for the AFTER!
Looks like a great giveaway...Please add my name in the hat. I could always use some inexpensive decorating ideas. Thanks for this opportunity!!!
sounds perfect for me! I'd love to find new ideas to recycle and restore. love it! xo
I think I'll be joining the crow 'if I don't win it, I'll buy it'. The majority of my belongings are secondhand and I love it that way, I'm always looking for ideas on how best to use that next find.
I would probably use this book a lot. I have done tables, chairs, dressers, and am not done yet!
Great Giveaway! I love giving old things new life!
aimeerobertson@gmail.com
I love the last picture of the kitchen it is so simple and clean.
I love to restore and recycle.

Love the idea of restoring, recycling, and repurposing. We're big fans of Randy Florke who redid our kitchen several years back. Would love to win his new book!

Hi there - book looks beautiful! Would love to get a copy and be inspired. I am a big second-hand, furniture re-user and restorer. My most exciting fin recently was a very cute coffee table that my neighbor had placed on the sidewalk with a 'free' sign on it. I snapped it up, went and bought some good quality white paint and got it back to its former glory! It now sits proudly in my living room.
This book looks great and I would love to win a copy...great giveaway! My latest repurpose projest was taking some old windows I found in my attic and turning them into mirrors for my living room.
well if i don't win this book, i am buying it! i love the pictures in it and the inspiration it offers. i refinish and paint furniture, repurpose items, and resell, so this would be totally useful to me!
I would love this book. It looks so good. I have re-painted an old sideboard and love it.
I have been DYING to get this book!!! Heaven on a page...
Oh I would love to win this book! It sounds absolutely fabulous. Such a great book, and shows people that recycling and repurposing can look so chic! I think when people hear the "r" words they think that things are going to look dirty, but this book could definitely change some minds!
emily DOT wittenberg @gmail.com
I try to recycle furniture as much as I can - repainting, refinishing, etc. The book looks great!
I just saw this book reviewed yesterday. What a great gift! I find it encouraging that you can find elegance in recyling. Early generations repurposed everything from clothing into quilts and an old farm table used for dining into work tables by adding a longer leg under the original.
We are renovating a 1950's family home and recycling doors, farm tables, going to GW and finding treasures that others don't find useful value in anymore. My favorite places to shop are Consignment Emporium, Inc. for furniture, The Rescue Mission, and Good Will stores and outlet, all in Winston-Salem, NC.
Thank you to you and the publishers for this gift offer.
I would love love love to have this!! Thanks for offering!
Looks like a very inspiring book. What a great give-away!
My favorite thing to do with my free time is comb the local salvage shop and yard sales looking for anything to repurpose or restore. My favorite find was a section of coat rack from an old school house. It has a number beside each hook and is really unique. We use it by the front door to hang our coats. This is an awesome giveaway :)

I love to recycle and reuse my stuff.
I just paint my old commode to fit with my new bedroom.
Those pictures are so cool. I love that "hotel" bedroom.
Wow! Great giveaway! I love the idea of this book! Shelley
This book is long overdue!!!
What a great giveaway! This book looks super fab!
looks like a great book. I am all about re-purposing.
My hubster and I are restoring my great-grandparents home that was built in the 1890's. We are all for re-using, repurposing or restoring everything we can!
Wow, what a great giveaway! We're total restore/recycle/repurpose-rs! My husband made me an entertainment center from barnwood lying around in his parents' yard. Our go-to's for storage are multiple antique trunks throughout our house. The 'shelves' in my study are old wine crates. And we actually use our antique fans in the summer!
This book sounds amazing!I'm really loving the whole repurpose, reuse movement, and giving items a whole new life with a new use. Thanks for the chance--def want to check thi sout regardless.

Oooh what a great book! Ever since discovering the blogging world, I've become so much more aware of the importance (and affordability!) of repurposing rather than buying something new. I'm much happier now!
I love reusing and repurposing pieces of furniture. I've done everything from an armoire to a dining chair! Great giveaway!

I'm always trying to find a way to "recycle" old things around the house, but don't always come up with great ideas. I would love a copy of this book.

I would love to enter this give away if I may! My home is full of restored and antique treasures, my favourite thing being an antique sideboard that used to belong my husband's parents.
Best wishes,
Natasha.
Perfect to add to my collection of How to Books. With more finds to be redone, this should be very inspiring:>)

What a great giveaway!! I hope I can add this to my collection of books and get some great ideas!
What a great book! I love going to garage sales and revamp old stuff or reupholster old furniture! That's my passion! Hope I win for some more inspiration!
This looks like such a good book!! I need inspiration and this book would give me that!

I'd love to win this book! I've long admired Randy Florke. We recycle and repurpose constantly around here! Would love more ideas.
I'm so blessed to have stumbled upon your blog =] Re-purposing has really been a passion for me, though i live in a city that hardly believes in it. I really hope to encourage that culture too.
I love ur blog.. I have Re-purposed many things in my home.. one of my favorite things i have re-purposed are the things that hold the cling blades on to that fan. My parents had a old fan and it stopped working and they got a new one dad was going to throw all of it away. i was like wait.. i could come up with a way to reuse some of these parts.. and I totally did.. the part that held the blade was metal and were they are curved they made the best curtain hang backs... I was pretty stocked... Ill send u a picture.. I dont have one now.. but they look so pretty.
I also would love the book I love to restore things.. :)
Such a gorgeous giveaway! I love restored things in my house :)I have lots of furniture from the flea market and from my grandparents, too. Sometimes I find pictures and other things on the street... Realy! So I like to have this brilliant book :) Thanks!
What a great book, I would love a copy as I adore recycling old items and breathing life into them once more.

They are my three fave 'R's! I am a big fan and most of my furniture is recycled! I fix and sell a lot too, which is my passion...

Thanks for the give-away! I will certainly purchase this book if I am not the winner ... :) I am always repurposing, reusing or recycling. Many pieces in my home have been found in antique shoppes or second hand stores. I love to reupholster and paint. It all began 20 years ago when I trash picked a small server while walking through the streets in Center City Philadelphia after dinner.
Oh how I would love to have this book. As I sit here and look around, I see an old dining table that turned coffee table that now turned bench. There are the porch posts turned dining table base, and the dresser turned buffet. There is so much more in my house, but there's always room for more. Right?!
Thanks for the opportunity.
Ahh! Perfect timing- we just bought a little 1928 bungalow and all these rooms are to die for.
My handy hubby is using old wood from our house to make our kitchen island- and hopefully inlcuding old windows to cover the shelves.
Email is: rebecca.stone627@gmail.com
I'd love this book. Just re-did an old kitchen table.
I just discovered your blog and have soaked in every page. I have enjoyed it so much and would love to be entered in this giveaway.
Thank You,
Debbie L.
Our kitchen cabinets are these beautiful, quaker made, thick oak cabinets. The 70's brown has to go, but I couldn't imagine tossing such craftsmanship in a landfill. So instead of buying new cabinets, I am repainting them. I am halfway done and would love this book to think up my next project.
Oh I would love this book! We are living in a 100+ year old farmhouse, so we are slowly, slowly restoring, recyling and repurposing! This book looks like a great read!
Restore.Recycle.Repurpose is the name of the game!!! It is like a treasure hunt searching for just the right piece. On one of my many treasure hunts I came across antique mexican doors with the original hardware....GORGEOUS!!! I turned them into a headboard for my guest bedroom....what a conversation piece. I would luv, luv, luv to have this book on my repurposed coffee table! My conctact information is coletteckettering@gmail.com
One of my favorite things to do with my mom is to go "antique-ing" and imagine all the new possibilities for interesting old pieces. I'd love to see the ideas Country Living has!
This could give me guidance!
Oh that's awesome. That book would totally get some use at my home. The kitchen island/cart is amazing! I love the wood and the metal together. It makes for a unique piece!

I am always looking for ways to reuse what I already own. I have refinished furniture, cabinets, lamps, etc. One of my favorites...I took an old particle board round table top and made a huge clock out of it. Thanks for the opportunity to win a terrific book.
Ah, love this book, and want it! =) I love how you can make beauty from the old things and how great they are, so much better than new!
ashleydawnsanford@gmail.com
I love the character that comes from restoring! Currently aiming to restore a small dresser to use as a buffet. Would love more inspiration from that beautiful book!
this book looks great. it's so much fun (and so satisfying) to repurpose something in a creative way.
I love to restore, recycle and repurpose! The piece we get the most complements on is an really weathered librarians desk that we use in the kitchen as an island. merkrim@gmail.com
As we try to restore our 1925 Bungalow, I am a sucker for mixing old and new, feminine and masculine design elements---love the concept of this book and finding ways to reinvent the old.
The book looks so pretty and practical thanks for the contest. mary
Would LOVE to win this! :D I reuse, recycle and repurpose ALL the time...zero decorating budget + crafty skills make it a given. :p
My latest first search is now Craigslist. This looks like a wonderful resource. Thanks for sharing.
I love restored furniture. My favorite are old family pieces! Hope I win. :)

It pains me to throw things out. I would love to get this book to help me branch out from currently repurposing bottles and boxes to bigger projects. Thanks for the chance!
This books like it would be right up my alley. I am a strong believer in the concept of sustainability. I'm the one who drives her friends crazy with suggestions about how objects can be reused. I'd love to add this to my collection.
I would LOVE to have this book! I'm big on restored and repurposed items. We recently found an old rickety, rolling file cabinet and restored it to be a side table!

This looks like a fantastic book. Thanks for the chance to win! I am learning to restore furniture little by little. So far, I have just worked on small pieces -- a small mirror that I repainted, for example. I think having a book for inspiration would help! thorandellie[at]gmail[dot]com
I learned how to refinish furniture from my parents, who taught themselves. And our family loves visiting thrift stores. A book like this would help us to put together our home. thevanandthecart[at]gmail[dot]com

I'm always picking stuff up that others have cast off. I try to live by that old adage "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without!" I'm always inspired by other people's creative ways to do that.
I am 53 - and my goal in life it to learn how to 'restore'...it's never to late!
