I love how it is obvious that they love each other through their work. I love the simplicity-mixed-with-drama of their prints. I love that they have taken part in lots of competitions. Business Mum anyone? I love them and would LOVE to win a piece of them.

I love these guys and have been following them for an age. in my opinion when you let a piece of typographic art grace the walls of your home, its got to be good as is something your gonna see on a daily basis, a quote, words that will fill your head everytime you look at it. There is not one piece from Coulson Macleod that I dislike, not one cheesy/irritating/annoying saying that I couldn't bear to look at anymore. What's more their beautiful finish and using reclaimed, recycled and natural materials make their artworks more than just a 'piece of art' more like something you'll treasure for days to come.(cheesy I know but totally true!) I think, it is unique to be able to use typography and create an artwork. At the same time, being able to mix an old idea or symbol and make it modern. Creating a work of art, through a mix of graphic design, texture, nostalgia and good old fashioned ideas!

Sara C said...

For me it's their originality that makes the designs so easy to relate too, as well as beautiful to look at!
