I love that idea! The floors looks so dynamic. And that orange ceiling is divine. Love the glossy blue walls with the black and white floor.
There's a great painted kitchen floor on Ada and Darcy's blog photo yesterday. I really like that idea.

Beautiful! That blue room is striking! Not that I have the space (or the courage) to attempt something like that, but in the right space, it would look fabulous.
The painted floors add a customized dynamic flair to a room but I always wonder how they hold up to foot traffic. These rooms are gorgeous but the bright blue walls are a bit much for me.
Wonderful painted floors! I too am very crafty when it comes to updating my house flooring. Redondo Beach where we had our rest house built had been a tough yet fun place to decorate. I had Swedish flooring around the house. The styles and colors used were different in every room to create varied ambiance in the house.
The blue room's very different from the other rooms. It's electric and classical at the same time. If you're an outgoing person, then that room's perfect for you. =]
