Cottage Restoration...

Not only is the renovation of this circa 1903 cottage great, but so is the story of how it was found and relocated to its new home on the Magnolia River. Each room has its own special details, like the artwork on a track that hides the TV over the fireplace. I love that the one rule the owners had was that if it came with the house, it stays with the house.

Love, love this house! I read the article in Southern Living and was so taken with the cottage. I can't imagine actually moving a house to another location, but it seemed to have worked well for them!

I am also delighted by the idea of keeping the TV in the fireplace. I find it funny, but unique. I see that you made a 1903 cottage a great restoration. Indiana also value old houses and buildings because it stands proof of history narratives. And it also makes the state a nice tourist destination.
