I absolutely love the classic architecture in this room. As it's caption states, "grand" is the exact word that comes to mind. Although I do love the chandelier that was chosen for this room, I wonder if using multiple lighting fixtures of larger size would have added to the drama of this room and really drawn your eye up toward that beautiful exposed beam ceiling.
What a room! Is it an old church conversion? Those classically elegant windows contrasting with the rustic ceiling.. *sigh* .. not to mention the gorgeous decor - so sophisticated without the formalities. The candle sticks in the back (the big ones) as well as those on the table are fantastic.
