Purdy Giveaway...

*This giveaway is now closed. Thank you for all the entries!*
Calling all do-it-yourselfers! We have all painted before and have spent countless hours choosing the perfect paint color. After selecting the paint color, we pick the supplies; and how many of us have skimped on the brushes and rollers {I know I have}, and we have all paid the price in the extra time and labor it takes to paint. Purdy has handcrafted the highest quality painting tools for over 80 years, and have been the preferred choice of professional painters. When painters demand products that enable them to paint better and faster, they select Purdy, knowing “using is believing”.
I love how Purdy brushes gives you a smooth, perfect finish the first time, leaving no brush marks or lost bristles. The brushes hold more paint, so you don’t have to refill as much and with the chiseled edge {and a steady hand} no taping is required and there is less clean-up. I don’t know about you, but I am always excited to paint at first, but slowly get fatigued and just want to finish. Any brush and roller that can make me a better and faster painter, I am sold! Another reason I like Purdy so much is that it is ‘green’, and is a brush you can use over and over again {it isn’t just a brush to throw away}. Purdy provides you all the tools you need, from their products, to tips, to coupons, to painting knowledge.

Purdy is giving one reader a 2.5” series brush for all paints and a White Dove roller.

Had a flood from a burst attic pipe. Everything is dried out and fixed now, but there are still some waterstains on the office walls. I would love to repaint.

Purdy brushes are the best! I have been planning to paint the dresser in my little man's room.

The question is what wouldn't I paint. I'd love to paint the nook I currently call my "office" wedged between my living room and the kitchen and make it my own. I love Purdy brushes and would love to add another to help paint my home. It's one of the less expensive alternatives when money is tight.

I would finally pick a paint color and get going on our bedroom. It is the only white room in the house and is just hideous. ;)

Oh gosh one time I used cheap paint brushes and it left bristles all over the thing I was painting. UGG, never again! I hope I win! :-) I'm painting....well everything! Right now my bedroom needs it most.

I agree! Purdy is the only brush for me! I would start by painting the trim in my son's room! Then his walls, and by then I'll be sick of painting and wait 6 months before I start the next project!

I LOVE a good paintbrush! And Purdy has always been my fave. I too have made mistakes by not using a good brush or roller. I don't take chances anymore...GREAT give-away!
Have a beautiful weekend...donna

let's see... i need to have the dining room (turned library) painted a second coat. Soon, the nursery needs to be painted (i'm due in Jan), although i'm still undecided about what color to use. And then, I'm painting my mom's kitchen to match her new countertop. ...I'm always painting...whew...

Whoo Hoo! I love Purdy brushes!

I need to paint the trim and doors in the kitchen...that's top on my painting list right now.

Oh I LOVE, LOVE Purdy brushes!! They are the best. I would re-paint all of the trim that the b.a.d. painters painted with the unspec'd primer and not my Benj. Moore primer that I had told them to use, and now lots of the trim has bleed through from the new pine boards. Arrrrhhhh.

I would paint my wooden mirror that has a yucky brown color to it. I would paint it black and add some cool design to it to make it more classy! It was a wedding gift and I don't want to give it to good will...I would feel bad! To have the right brush...ahhhhh...that would be wonderful! :)

Perfect, I have been wanting to paint my kitchen cabinets white!

I'm looking at it right now. Six months ago, while pregnant, I painted one wall of our study. It would be great to finish the job and paint the other three.

good brushes do make a difference -- learned that the hard way! I would use it to (finally) finish painting my trim ... ugh!

I would paint my master bedroom and my bathrooms - the last 3 rooms that I have not changed since I bought my house!

I would definitely paint my bedroom! I moved into my apartment more than 4 months ago, but have yet to really decorate my bedroom. Horrible, I know. This would entice me to really get going!

My husband and I are looking to paint a room in our house where we have our office.

I'd already painted my hallway with a mis-tint gallon of paint bought for $5 but the color is just too muted for me. I've now picked a color called Pacific Seacoast and would love some great tools to get the job done!

I would paint my kitchen and the cabinets as well. Just finished painting the master bedroom and am waiting to paint our living room ceiling---uggh.

Ooh Purdy brushes are the best! I love how they make such crisp, clean edges so that not a single drop of paint goes on the ceiling.

We are about to paint our guest room/study, so a Purdy brush would be perfect! :)

that's so funny- this is my first visit to your blog (won't be my last!) and i am in the midst of the hugest painting project of my life! i'm re-painting literally EVERY surface in our new home- i have painted 10 rooms in the last 3 months, and i still have several more, plus trim, doorways, stair risers & a few floors! i have used all brands of brushes, but i just decided that a good brush is SO worth it, and i'm all Purdy now!
so what would i paint? whatever will sit still long enough to be painted! : )
happy sunday,
rachel
