Why wallpaper when you can do this? I love the look of an accent wall, but have never wanted to take the plug of wallpapering, mainly because I didn't want to hassle with the paper and glue and because if I did make a mistake, it could be quite a mess. I found a solution through Whitewall & Co.. Whitewall & Co. produces large scale stencils to resemble wallpaper, wainscot, and borders {as seen in the Southern Living idea house}. Their website shows you all the designs available with an interactive color palette, to show you what your desired result will be. They also provide the step-by-step instructions. You can purchase a design today and have a whole new room within a week. They are trying to change the way you look at your walls, by turning them into art themselves!

What a great concept! I spent months trying to take wallpaper down (off and on) that had been on for about 30 years. It's awful to remove, as it comes down in layers! Hopefully people will go this route instead!
Love these walls, but this process seems more difficult than wallpaper.
I am doing a post on them next week! I love their stencils!
Love how it looks, but seems like it would be a lot of work...
As for taking off wallpaper, it's much easier to just texture over it. Home Depot sells texture in buckets that works really well. I did this in both of my bathrooms about 6 years ago and have not had any problems, and am getting ready to do my kitchen this month.
it would SO never turn out like this if I did this at home! :0) Cool though!
They make those walls look so gorgeous and chic.
I loved reading your post! So well said. :)

I'd much rather do something like this than regular wallpaper. Maybe that's from having to remove old wallpaper a few years back.
