I love maps, such a great way to decorate that doesn't have to be that expensive!
Absolutely love this...the old school looking one in that entry vestibule is too cool.
love, love maps. We have one in our son's room. It was cheap, from books a million, but it was the right scale and my heart wont be broken if something happens to it.
Love this post! Great images.
I have a thing for maps, especially old ones. And the great thing is they're plentiful!
Those are great! I especially love #1 and #3.
I love all of the photos. I've always wanted one of the old pieced Paris city maps. Love pic 4- the walls, the matching to the chair shades- wonderful.
I love maps too. I got my husband an antique map of the place we went on our honeymoon for our first wedding anniversary. It was less expensive than I thought - in case you are looking, here's the place I ordered mine from - http://www.rare-maps.com. I had a good experience with them. Good luck with the search, and I would love to see what you pick out!
Awesome~ I wanna see the end result!
What a great idea for a guy- hope you find some great ones for him!

Indeed, maps are also my favourite decorating tool... I like to keep my eyes out at auctions mainly and then wrap them around canvases! I probably have too many...!

I once saw a picture in a magazine where they took maps from national geographic and plastered them all over the ceiling. Someday... someday...
