Neighborhood Walk...

While walking to the park one day we passed two homes {neighbors} with amazing landscaping, and one with an adorable driveway. I think it would make the drive home a little more enjoyable.

I want to know more about this wonderful house. Is it on a corner? What do you think the lot size is. How about the wonderful, low plantings on the driveway? Graphic and clever. Part of the hardscape in my garden is pea gravel and the other hardscape is decomposed granite... this driveway could be either. Thankks for sharing. I am with Erika, I love the color of the house.

Sorry, I re-read your blog and saw that there are two houses, not one. The first time I read too fast as I was enjoying the pictures so much. Both houses exude warmth and good editing.
Thanks again for sharing.

These are fabulous! Love the pea gravel(?) drive and what genius to have plantings in the middle.

Marybeth: Yes, there are two homes, the top photo is one and the bottom is the other; they are neighbors. Neither is a corner lot, the lot sizes are no bigger than a .5 acre, and the driveway is pea gravel.

Oh man...those are gorgeous! But I would be so worried about driving over that little garden so perfectly that I wouldn't be noticing the view so much.

I'd get over it, though.

What a delightful place to walk. Places to view like that certainly make exercise more interesting.

Thank you for sharing.

Amazing! I don't think I'd want to live next to either of those houses, though. Too much to live up to.

Oh I would love to be able to have a driveway like that! Unfortunately the snow plows would do it in.

Thanks for sharing a part of your neighborhood...lucky you!

soooo pretty! love the dark colors on the house too.

our concrete driveway is a wreck because of a big oak tree next to it. I'd rather have the tree than the driveway, so maybe we should look into something like this.

lucky you to have such eye candy in your 'hood!

The driveway is so enjoyable. It makes me want to tear out all the cement leading to my house (there's a lot) and build a beautiful driveway like this one. But that would be crazy. Although it gives me idea's, I could begin planting 'something' after years it may look a little greener. I'm sure this driveway didn't happen in a weekend.
So lovely Megan.
