It's a week away from Thanksgiving. I cannot wait! We aren't at the stage of having Thanksgiving at our home yet, but one day. In the mean time I like to brainstorm how I would set up a festive decor. When planning, one of the first things you create is your guest list and figure out how everyone will be seated. Then it is on to place cards. I am enjoying all these place card ideas from Martha. The sweet-gum spur is one of my favorites.

you know what's really funny is that i tried to do that first one w/ the gumdrop last yr...those things have seeds that pour onto the plate when you sit them on it!!
