This kitchen would definitely be a gathering place in this home. All the elements make it welcoming, with the rich, dark, wide planked flooring and ceiling to coordinate. The layout is very functional and that island is large enough for everyone to gather around.

I love this home and that kitchen is EXACTLY how I want mine. Those floors are precisely what my mind and heart wants, I just have to find them. I'm using them in my entire house. But I would LOVE to have those wonderful wood beams and tall ceilings. - We may have to just take out the attic and do a little ceiling raising around here. Hmmmm...
